What is PoliPrep?

We cover admission tests (TOLC-I, TIL-I, CEnT-S, TEST ARCHED) and university subject courses (Analysis I, Computer Science etc), all inside one platform. Structured cohort courses, standalone simulation tests, and curated resources — built by students who've been through the same exams.

Who is behind PoliPrep?

PoliPrep is founded by two computer engineering students studying at Politecnico di Torino. We also run @lifeatpolito, a student community with 12,000+ followers, and TILPrep, our first exam prep product. PoliPrep is not affiliated with any university — we're an independent EdTech company.

Is PoliPrep only for Politecnico di Torino students?

Accepted Answer

No. While our roots are at PoliTO, PoliPrep's admission test courses work for any Italian university that uses TOLC-I, CEnT-S, or TEST ARCHED. The TOLC-I score is accepted at every CISIA-consortium university. CEnT-S is accepted everywhere offering English-taught programmes. TEST ARCHED is the national architecture test used across Italy.

Why should I choose PoliPrep over a private tutor?

Cost and structure. A private tutor in Italy typically charges €15–25 per hour, and you're responsible for building your own study plan. PoliPrep's cohort model brings that cost down to roughly €8–12 per hour of instruction, and you get a complete structured curriculum, two dedicated instructors, 20 simulation tests, peer community access, and weekly live sessions — all included. You don't need to figure out what to study or in what order.

Consider what you're getting: 10–14 weeks of structured teaching (depending on the exam), two instructors across every session, 20 full simulation tests, weekly live Q&A, WhatsApp community, and all course materials. The effective cost is under €10 per hour of instruction — roughly half what a private tutor charges for less structure. And the founding price includes everything, no hidden add-ons.

What payment methods does PoliPrep accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Stripe, our payment processor. All transactions are processed securely with industry-standard encryption. We do not charge VAT (regime forfettario) — the price you see is the price you pay.

Is the price a monthly subscription or a one-time payment?

One-time payment for the full cohort course or simulation bundle. No recurring charges, no auto-renewal. You pay once, you're in for the entire duration. Simulation tiers (Core 3, Pro 3, Pro 6) are also one-time purchases.

Do you offer payment plans or instalments?

Accepted Answer

Not at this time. Cohort courses and simulation bundles are single payments. If cost is a concern, standalone simulation tiers start at €49.99 and give you structured practice without the full cohort experience.

How do I create an account on PoliPrep?

Sign up with your email address and password. We'll send a verification email — click the link and you're in. No social login at launch; we keep authentication simple and secure.

Can I access PoliPrep on my phone or tablet?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PoliPrep is a web-based platform that works on any device with a modern browser — desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. There's no separate mobile app; the website is responsive and works across screen sizes. Video lessons stream directly in your browser.

Is PoliPrep available in English and Italian?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The platform itself supports both languages. Course content language matches the exam: TOLC-I course content is in Italian (the exam is in Italian), CEnT-S course content is in English (the exam is in English), ARCHED is available in both depending on the cohort. Platform navigation, support, and FAQ content are bilingual.

How realistic are PoliPrep's simulation tests?

They're built to match the real exam exactly — same number of questions per section, same time limits, same scoring (+1 / -0.25 / 0). The question pool is structured to cover the official syllabus from CISIA (TOLC-I, CEnT-S) or the Decreto Ministeriale (ARCHED). You'll see your score breakdown by section, just like on exam day.

Can I retake simulation tests?

Yes. You can retake any simulation as many times as you want within your access period. Each attempt is scored independently, so you can track your progress over time.

Is my data safe on PoliPrep?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PoliPrep is fully GDPR-compliant. Our infrastructure runs on EU servers (Lovable Cloud EU region). Analytics are processed through PostHog EU cloud, gated behind cookie consent — we don't track you unless you opt in. Payment data never touches our servers; it's handled entirely by Stripe. Our privacy policy, cookie policy, and GDPR data request procedure are all published on the platform.

Does PoliPrep sell my data?

Accepted Answer

No. We never sell, share, or monetize your personal data. We don't run ads. We don't use your data for anything beyond delivering the service you paid for and improving the platform. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How do I get help if I have a problem?

Accepted Answer

Email support@poliprep.com. We also have a Support page on the platform with a contact form. Cohort students additionally have direct access to their instructors and peers through the WhatsApp community. We aim to respond within 24 hours on business days.

What if I have a technical issue during a simulation test?

Accepted Answer

Contact support@poliprep.com with a description of the issue and which simulation you were taking. If a technical problem on our end interrupted your test, we'll reset your attempt so you can retake it under normal conditions.

Is PoliPrep a legitimate registered business?

Accepted Answer

Yes. PoliPrep is operated by Islam Fakrul, a registered Italian sole proprietorship (ditta individuale) under regime forfettario. We're registered with the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate), have a P.IVA, and comply with all Italian and EU consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Directive on refunds and the GDPR on data protection.
